This summer dress is freezy!... shit, I forgot it's still winter..

Wenn ich mir etwas neues kaufe kann ich nie abwarten es endlich zu tragen. Da spielen auch die Temperaturen draußen nicht immer eine Rolle. Und wenn dann ein klitzekleiner Sonnenstrahl mal durchdringt wird die Wintergarderobe gleich beiseite gelegt. So kommt es dass ich dieses Kleid trotz Minustemperaturen trug und statt eine warme Jacke zu wählen, habe ich meinen leichten Mantel hervorgeholt. Ich lasse mich eben auch vom allerkleinsten Sonnenstrahl täuschen!

ENG: If I buy something new I can't wait to wear it. Even weather doesn't play a role then. So I t came i wore this summer dress and my thin coat while it was really freezing outside. Plus the fact, that i wanted to wear my new dress, I was tricked by a little and short outcome of the sun. It always makes me lay away my winter wardrobe at once!

A rainy night on a rootftop ... and the city is burning

In letzter Zeit trage ich am liebsten weite Oberteile und dazu enge Röcke oder Hosen. Egal ob zum weggehen oder für die Freizeit.  

Das shirt habe ich bei H&M im Sale gefunden, bei dem ich mal wieder ordentlich zugeschlagen habe. Es ist immer wieder das selbe: Ich kann den großen Sale-Schildern bei H&M einfach nicht wiederstehen und jedes Mal finde ich nicht nur ein Teil, sondern gleich mehrere, die ich mitnehmen muss. Danach frag ich mich, ob ich diese Sachen wirklich haben wollt oder ob ich den Preis einfach so unwiederstehlich fand?! Zumindest bin ich bei diesem Shirt glücklich, dass ich es gekauft habe.

ENG: The last time I love wearing wide shirts and tight skirts or pants. Doesn't if it's  in my freetime or for a party. I bought the shirt at H&M Sale, were I left a lot of money again. It's always the same: I can't resist the big Sale-signs at H&M und everytime I find not just one, buit a lot of pieces I buy. After that I ask myself if I really want those thigs or if it is just the price, which makes it hard to resist?! Anyway, this time I'm glad I bought this shirt.

Personally, I think the world needs true love right now. It's pretty hard to find true love nowadays. True love is not about saying "I love you" every day. It's more than that. Many people are too busy and selfish to give true love. On the other hand, many people are waiting eagerly for true love. The world must certainly need to learn to love and to be loved whole-heartedly.

It's the New Year´s Eve Mafia

Hier sind (wieder einmal ein wenig spät) meine Bilder vom Silvester-Abend. Wir haben einen Raum gemietet und unter dem Motto 20er- 30er Jahre/ Mafia gefeiert. Es war wirklich eine super Party! Alles sahen wunderbar aus in den Outfits (es wirkte ein wenig wie eine Black and White Party, da ausser 3 Mädels in Rot, alle schwarz-weiß trugen).

Ich habe mir dafür ein Kleid und eine Strumpfhose bei Asos bestellt. Es war das erste Mal, dass ich dort bestellt habe und ich muss leider sagen, wohl auch das letzte Mal. Denn die Steinchen von den Ärmeln des Kleides lösten sich  nach und nach ab und die Perlen und Steinchen der Ärmel haben mir einen Faden aus dem Überstoff des Kleides gezogen und dann auch noch eine Laufmasche in die Strumpfhose gerissen. Wieso bestickt man die Ärmel eines Kleides, dass einen so dünnen Überstoff hat mit spitzen Steinchen, die überall Maschen reinmachen?!? Soll man vielleicht, die ganze Zeit mit ausgestreckten Armen rumlaufen, um das Kleid nicht zu berühren? Da haben ja die von mir angebrachten Steinchen auf den Schuhen besser gehalten!

Abgesehen davon, dass nun beides - Strumpfhose und Kleid - ruiniert ist fand ich das Kleid, aber sehr schön. Es erinnerte mich ein wenig an die wundervoll bestickten Kleiderärmel von Pola Negri, einer polnischen Stummfilmschauspielerin, der 20er Jahre.

ENG: Here are my New Year's Eve pictures (as always a bit late). We have celebrated a 20s/ 30s/ Mafia Party. It was such a great party and a lot of fun! Everybody looked great (it felt a bit like a black and white party, because besides 3 girls in red, everybody decided to wear black and white).

I ordered a dress and tights from Asos.com for this event. I was the first time I ordered something from them, and I think it will be the last. Many of the pearls/beads on the sleeve loosened themselves and ripped the upper layer of the dress and got lost. They ripped my tights, too!

Seriously, I don't get it! Why do they use sharp beads for a dress with a dress like that?!? Do they want me to keep my hands outstretched all the time, so I won't touch the delicate fabric?

Even the beads I stitched to my shoes didn't loosen themselves!

Besides the fact, that both - dress and tights are ruined - I really like the dress. It reminded me of the wonderful stitched and decoraded sleeves of  Pola Negri , a polish silent film star in the 20s.

S Club 7 Sunshine Party

S Club 7 were a UK pop group created by former Spice Girls manager Simon Fuller, consisting of members Tina Barrett, Paul Cattermole, Jon Lee, Bradley McIntosh, Jo O'Meara, Hannah Spearritt and Rachel Stevens. They first came to public attention in 1999, when they starred in their own television series, Miami 7. Over the five years they were together, S Club 7 had UK #1 singles, UK #1 albums, a string of #1 singles throughout Europe, and top-ten singles in the United States, Asia, Latin America, and Africa. They recorded a total of four studio albums, released eleven singles and went on to sell over seventeen million albums worldwide. In 2001, the group earned the Record of the Year award. Group member Paul Cattermole departed the group in 2002, and the group changed its name from S Club 7 to simply S Club. New Years Eve DIY shoes

Mein Kleid für Silvester hatte ich schon Anfang Dezember bei Asos bestellt. Mir fehlten nur noch passende Schuhe und da ich bis kurz vor Silvester keine entsprechenden gefunden habe, habe ich einfach meine alten Peeptoes ein wenig verändert. Das ging ganz schnell. Einfach ein Stück schwarzen Stoff zurecht schneiden, mit einer Polsternadel raufnähen und dann noch einige Perlen drauf und fertig war der Schuh für Silvester. Das Kleid zeige ich euch dann beim nächsten Mal :)

ENG: I ordered my New Years Eve dress already in the beginning of December, but I haven't found any matching shoes till 31st. So I took my old peeptoes and a piece of black fabric and a few pearls ... and voila, here´s my new old New Years Eve shoes. I will show you the dress next time :)

Hot! Hot!! Hot!!!

Who - Five O'Clock Heroes feat. Agyness Deyn

Hey ihr Lieben! Ich hoffe ihr seid gut ins neue Jahr gekommen! Ich habe es getan und werde euch so bald wie möglich die Fotos dazu präsentieren. Doch heute beginne ich meinen ersten Post im Jahr 2011, allerdings noch mit Fotos vom Vorjahr - als noch kein Schnee lag, der mich abhielt vom abfotografieren meiner Outfits .

Meine neue Hose ist dank der "Tapered-form" (oben weit - unten eng) sehr bequem und in letzter Zeit meine Lieblingshose (ja ich weiß...das wechselt ständig bei mir...).

Was seit geraumer Zeit, allerdings konstant bleibt ist mein Lieblingssong, dem dieser Post auch seinen Titel verdankt. Ich bin ganz zufällig drauf gestoßen und höre mir diesen nun ziemlich häufig an, was meine Laune schnell hebt :) Hört es euch an und sagt mir, ob es die selbe Wirkung auf euch hat.

I start my first post in this year with photos from the last one  - when there wasn't any snow keeping me from taking pictures of my outfits.

My pants is thanks to its "tapered-shape" (loose top - tight legs) really comfortable and my fav one in the last days ( yes I know... that changes a lot in my case...).

There is one song however. that I my fav for a long time now and I listen to it quite often to lighten up my mood :) . Listen to it and tell me if it has the some effect on you.
