Valentino created their Spring collection with the intention to attract younger group of customers. The theme for Valentino's Spring 2010 Haute Couture Show was Garden of Eden in a modern world. Actually, it reminds me of the Avatar movie.

Rubber boots and lace shirt

Das heutige Outfit wurde zum Kaffee-Klatsch-Treffen mit einer Freundin ausgeführt. Eigentlich trug ich meine geschnürten Boots dazu und nicht die Gummistiefel.Aber war vielleicht auch besser so, den meine Freundin und ich schienen so wie wir waren schon genug aufzufallen, obwohl Ich finde, dass die geblümten Stiefel sehr gut zum restlichen Outfit (und zum Wetter) gepasst hätten. Eigentlich habe ich die Gummistiefel für mich bestellt, aber sie sind mir zu klein, also trägt meine Mama sie jetzt. Für das Foto habe ich mich einfach nochmal hineingezwängt.

ENG: This outfit i wore to a drinkin'-coffee-and-gossipin'-meeting with a friend. Actually i wore my laced boots, not the rubber boots. Maybe it was better that way, because my friend and me attracted enough attention the way we were already dressed, tough i think the flowered rubber boots fit very good as well with the rest of the outfit. Actually i ordered them für me, but they are to small, so my mum uses them now. I just borrowed them for this pictures.

Chanel Spring 2010 Haute Couture Show

According to Karl Lagerfeld, he had never done a collection without black or navy except for his Spring 2010 Collection for Chanel. For his Spring 2010 Haute Couture Show, Lagerfeld chose a silver and pastel theme. The models sported heart-shaped cartoonish hair, shorts suits, bubble skirts, flowing togas and rococo-heeled silver booties. Trivia: According to Instyle.com, Karl Lagerfeld used the heart-shaped hairdo of Lady Gaga for the show.

For his Spring 2010 Haute Couture Show, Giorgio Armani got his inspiration from the moon in order to come up with a romantic and dreamy collection. As a result, the runway was dominated by luminescent fabrics, curviform cutting, embroideries that look like the moon craters, and crescent-shaped hairdo. Peppermint candy

Mein Outfit-Motto heute: Ich bin ein Pfefferminzbonbon

Heute war ich nach der Arbeit in der Stadt,um endlich meinen Accessorize Gutschein einzulösen. Die haben mittlerweile 70% auf vieles und es dauerte eine Weile bis ich mich entschieden habe, was ich davon nun mitnehme. Auf dem Rückweg zwang ich meinen Freund das Auto in eine Parklücke an der Binnenalster zu quetschen, um auf dem geforenen See Fotos zu machen. Bevor ich allerdings einen meiner rutschigen Schuhe aufs Eis setzte, hätte ich fast noch einen Rückzieher gemacht, weil ich diesen Winter schon so einige Mal unsanft ausgerutscht bin. Aber diesmal hab ich es heil überstanden (hab mich ja auch nicht weit rausgetraut).

After todays work i went to Accessorize, to redeem my coupons. They have sales at the moment and reduced many things to 70 %. I took a while for me to decide what i will take with me. On the way home i forced my boyfriend to squezze his car in a parking space near the Inner Alster, to take pictures on the frozen lake. But before i even put one slippy shoe on the ice, i had almost changed my mind, because i already fell to often and to hard this winter. This time i survived unharmed (mostly because i didn't went to far)

Christian Dior Spring 2010 Haute Couture

This Christian Dior couture collection could have stepped right off the set for an avant guarde costume drama (obviously if costumes dramas had budgets big enough to buy couture with)

Exaggerated eye make up, huge show-off jewels drippping off every part of the models bodies, massive trailing gowns and of course lots and lots of sequins were the main aspects of the collection just showing that you don't buy Dior couture to blend into the background.

It was all about the drama.
